Information in the community

We store the username, email address, password hash, firmware submissions, uploaded images, comments, and account activity needed to operate this community. Passwords are hashed, and your email address is not displayed publicly.

What other people can see

Your username, published firmware, images, source links and comments are public. Firmware and comments are published immediately; administrators can remove them from public view. Avoid adding personal or confidential information to public content.

Cookies and security

We use essential session and CSRF cookies for sign-in, registration verification and form protection. Verification codes are temporary and single-use. Rate limits store a keyed hash of network addresses. The web server may retain access and error logs for operation and troubleshooting. Fingersonic Lab does not include advertising trackers.

Files and retention

Submitted files and moderation records are retained for community operation and recovery. Withdrawing a release or comment removes it from public view while retaining its records. Contact support for account access, correction, or deletion requests.

External services

GitHub, official update tools, sharing destinations, and the fingersonic.net store operate separately. Their policies apply when you visit them. Share buttons only open the selected destination when you choose to use them.
